Udhampur, Apr 9: The historic Govt Degree College for Boys here was set up after independence and was nominated in star college of education years ago. This college is the alma meter of most of the Udhampur students.
The college has a jostle that can accommodate 70 students. But, the hostel, reports said, lacks basic facilities and the building too is not in good shape.
The hostlers told Early Times that they were suffering for want of basic facilities including water and electricity.
They also said that all the windows, wiring of lights, almirahs and other things of hostel rooms are totally damaged but hostel the management seems in no mood to set things right.
The hostlers have sought intervention of the education minister. |
