SAST holds biannual General Council Meeting

Jammu, Apr 9: The Biannual General Council Meeting of Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust was held today, with General Secretary's address on behalf of the President, in Mata Roop Bhawani Bhawan, Tirath Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
The meeting was attended by a big gathering, both men & women who also proposed some suggestions and spoke on the occasion. TK Ganjoo, Chairperson, Pandit Radhakrishnan Memorial Trust promised a donation of Rs 1,00,000 on behalf of the said Trust for renovation of Cheshma Sahibi Temple. He further proposed that 5 deserving and underprivileged children be picked up and 3 of them be adopted by SAS Trust and 2 by Pandit Radhakrishnan Memorial Trust for taking care of their studies, boarding and lodging in a residential school, which was approved by the council. SK Raina, the Executive of Borderless World Foundation proposed that his Foundation with adopt 5 children from underprivileged class, identified by Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust. A devotee - Kirti Kapil announced to donate Rs 10,000 to the Trust for pursuing such activities. The Presenter's address was read out by Reshi JK Raina, General Secretary, Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust (Regd.), review of last year's agenda and it's completion was summed up by Sh. IM Dhar, Secretary SAST.
