Mendhar, Apr 19: Police today claimed to have foiled two bovine smuggling bids with the arrest of five bovine smugglers while rescuing 27 bovine from the clutches of the smugglers during naka checking under the jurisdiction of Police Station Mendhar.
Police spokesman said, "Police party from Police Station Mendhar under the jurisdiction of Mendhar while on Naka duty intercepted Five Tata mobiles bearing registration numbers JK12A 2971 JK12 -9963 JK12 1989 Jk12A 1129 Jk12 9365 loaded with Twenty Seven bovines." "During questioning the occupants of vehicles failed to produce any documents regarding inter-district transportation of animals and police arrested them on the spot, police said, adding the accused have been identified as Naseer Hussain son of Gulam A bass Javid Iqbal s/o Mohd sadiq Mohd Mustaq s/o Mohd din J Mohd khushied s/o Mohd bashir and Mohd TaJ s/o Ali Mohd all residents of Bhera and Bhatidhar Of Mendhar Tehasil of Poonch District. |
