| Drug paddler arrested with 700 gram Charas | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Apr 22: In continuation to the drive launched against drugs menace by SSP Ramban Mohan Lal, today another major success was achieved by Police , When one person was apprehended along with 700 grams of charas.
As per the details available with Early Times, today Police Party of P/S Chandarkote established a routine naka in Chandarkote town on National Highway for checking / frisking of vehicles. While doing so , police party signalled one Vehicle Mini Bus bearing Registration Number JK06-0383 to stop for police check. During frisking One person namely Gh. Hassan S/O Fatta Reshi R/O Kothtal, Banihal was found carrying 700 grams of charas for illegitimate gains. Upon which police arrested the said accused and lodged FIR No. 19/2018 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act in Police Station Chandarkote. This is the third recovery made by Ramban Police in last one month.SSP Ramban has appealed the youth of District Ramban to stay away from drugs.
The arrest and recovery was made by SHO P/S Chandarkote Inspector Aabid Bukhari under the supervision of DySP HQ Ramban Tussif Ahmed ( JKPS) and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal. |
