Day long conference on endocrine oncology held at SMVD Narayana Hospital 4/22/2018 11:22:39 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 22: The department of Oncology at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super speciality hospital organised a one day conference on Endocrine Malignancies under the aegis of Indian association of surgical oncology at SMVDNSH campus. The function was inaugurated by Dr. Birg MM Harjai (CAO- SMVDNSH), Brig Dr. B.N. Kapoor- Brig Med NC HQ, Dr. Shirish Dhoble- Clinical Director SMVDNSH, Dr. T. Subramenshawar Rao, IASO Faculty, Dr. K.S.Mehta, HOD Surgery-ASCOMS & Dr. Tariq Parvez Azad -HOD & Prof- GMC Jammu. The Endocrine malignance topics that discussed were breast cancer, adrenal, thyroid, pancreas & testicular cancers. The Doctors who delivered on topics were, Dr. Sunil Kotwal, Dr. Elias Sharma, Dr.Rahul Gupta, Dr. Vikrant Chandel, Dr. Sanjay Dhar,Dr.Sheikh Zahoor,Dr.Amit Suri,Dr.Rajan Gupta, Dr. manoj Gupta , Dr. Sandeep kaul, Dr. Rajeev Saini, Dr. Satyanker Gupta, Dr. Tapan Sarma. The IASO has planned this academic meet with the intent to encourage young Drs to learn oncologic principles and take up oncology as career.
