Prof Bhim demands CBI enquiry in Rassana Case

Jammu, May 4: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) patron Prof. Bhim Singh has described the report of the team of Bar Council of India just and their demand for CBI enquiry.
The BCI's team demand for CBI enquiry has been made by lawyers fraternity in Jammu, social activists and several groups and associations connected with various political, social and NGOs. Prof.Bhim Singh had made this demand when he visited the adopted parents on March 4, 2018 in their lodging place in Rassana. He had assured the parents of the girl that everybody shall stand by them to ensure justice. Prof.Bhim Singh had also intervened in this matter before the Supreme Court which is hearing a petition by the parents of the deceased girl for the transfer of the trial from Kathua to Chandigarh.
Prof. Bhim Singh said that report of the Bar Council of India deserves consideration. Re-investigation of this tragic case by a Central Agency, may it be, CBI or some other Central Agency shall bring out the tragic tale of this heinous crime.
