Jammu, May 9: JKSSA today urged upon the Finance and Education Ministers to delink salaries of teachers' appointed under SSA from MHRD.
A protest was organised under the banner of JKSSA teachers forum, led by Youns Rahi, state president of the forum demanding delink SSA teachers salary and release the same from same budget.
The protesting teachers raised slogans for the delinking and streamlining SSA teachers' salary. Addressing the protest demonstration Youns Rahi urged to Syed Altaf Bukhari Finance Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Choudhary Zulfkar Ali Education Minister to fullfill their demands for delinking of SSA Teachers salary from MHRD Govt, of India Source of funding. "Release the same from the state budget and bringing the post of SSA Teachers of Jammu and Kashmir under state plan", he said.
The Forum's provincial president Rajesh Paul Singh appealed the Chief Minister to personally intervene into the matter and issue order for immediate release of their pending salary besides stream lining of the same by delinking the salary budget from sources of funding.
The protest demonstration was also addressed by some other leaders of forum are Jogfnder Kumar ,Shiv Dev Singh , Rashpal singh , Mahzoor Malik, Neetu Rajput ,Rashpal Singh , Varinder Sharma, Gulzar Choudhary , Muneer Choudhary, Surjeet Kumar, Surinder kumar, Rajinder Sharma, Jeet raj, Rakesh kumar ,Gurbachan Singh, Ganesh Sharma ,Karan singh malhi, Sanjey kumar Inklabi, Asalm Khan, Seeta Devi and others. |
