Shocking: BJP supports suggestions to stop operations against terrorists
5/9/2018 11:39:25 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 9: In the all-party which was convened this evening after unprecedented violence in KashmirValley, BJP's representatives endorsed PDP's stand that operations against terrorists should be stopped in Kashmir Valley and Union Government should announce cease-fire with terrorists in the month of Ramzan. It is all due to their love for power that BJP's representatives not oppose suggestion of PDP to stop ongoing anti-terrorists operations in the Kashmir Valley.
Credible sources said that during the all party meeting when some PDP and other members gave the idea of stopping operations against terrorists, BJP's representatives maintained a silence to give their silent consent to the idea.
At this crucial time when security forces have eliminated large number of top commanders and virtually wiped out Burhan Wani gang of HM terrorists, stopping anti-terorist operations would give a big relief to the terror groups but BJP, due to love for power, failed to oppose this move of PDP.
Meanwhile after the all party meeting, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said it was agreed that there should a be a unilateral ceasefire with during the month of Ramzan and Amarnath Yatra.
"Everyone agreed that we must appeal Centre that govt must think about a unilateral ceasefire like Vajpayee ji did in 2000. Encounters, crack downs is causing trouble to common man. Efforts must be made to maintain environment so that both Eid and Amarnath Yatra are peaceful", said Mufti.
She added that if the agenda of alliance between BJP and PDP is followed, situation in Kashmir can be changed. "Everyone agreed that if agenda of alliance between BJP and PDP is followed, then situation in J&K can be changed. Everyone also agreed that we meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and express our concerns over situation in J&K and discuss how do we reach out to people of J&K," said the chief minister.
