| Jilted lover kills girlfriend, attempts suicide | | | Early Times Report
Katra, May 23: In a bizarre case a jilted lover killed his girlfriend and then attempted suicide by cutting his veins.
The shocking incident took place at elite Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Narayana Hospital near Katra. Both the killer and the victim were working with the hospital. Sources informed that the victim 23- year- old Vishali Devi daughter of Ram Lal resident of Himachal Pradesh working as a Staff Nurse in SMVD Narayana Hospital Karkyal was today found in a pool of blood in a room of the hospital during the wee hours. She was posted at Hospital's Cath Laboratory.
The jilted lover was identified as 24- year old Pawan Chathan son of Sita Ram resident of Ghazipur, UP who was found in serious condition in the hospital and is presently undergoing treatment there.
After getting the news of the murder police rushed to the spot and collected circumstantial evidence to work out reason behind murder and registered FIR no 94/2018 u/s 302 at Katra police station. Investigation in the case is going on and the cops have rounded up some suspects from the staff for questioning.
When contacted, SSP Tahir Sazaad Bhat e said that the boy who was apprehended with his veins cut had confessed to killing the nurse. |
