Jammu, June 3: Reacting to the yesterday's statement of BJP's Dy CM regarding proposed development of old Jammu city as 'Heritage City' Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in a statement issued here, termed it as a twist of BJP to get rid of its 'Smart city' Jumla plan.
BJP & PM Modi were well aware of the ground realities but as usual, plan of 'smart cities' was spelled out to impress the urban voters without any calculation, alleged by Deep Singh the Jammu based founder member & national council member-AAP. In fact, w.e.f. last six decades, BJP used to have its footing in urbanized India only with the result, municipal corporations, municipalities & other local urban bodies were often controlled by BJP with an incredible & corrupt working style the main reason behind the present hotchpotch emergence of cities & towns, he further alleged. Even on today, timely implementation of master plans, needed approval of building plans & required monitoring of private developers is totally missing, he added. |
