Mendhar, June 3: Kissan Mazdoor Union Mendhar has alleged that norms were floated in construction of road and upgradation works under PMGSY.
The standard procedure not adopted by the contractor inconvenience with officials of PMGSY for blacktopping this road. Construction material used by the contractor is very low quality even coal tar not up to mark as required for blacktopping of roads.
Moreover our taxi sumo operators and general public is facing great hardships due to blockade of the route for the last 25 days.
They appealed Minister for Roads Naeem Akhtar and District Development Commissioner Poonch for timely intervention in the matter to check the sub-standard material used by them and stopped them if they using such type of low standard material not up to mark as under PMGSY rules and take serious action officials who found guilty in this connection. |
