MGCA to organise biggest free summer camp in J&K from June 4th
6/3/2018 11:09:04 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, June 3: Mayank Goswami cricket academy is all set to organise the biggest free cricket summer camp for the students of J&K from the 5th of June 2018 onwards. The camp will be held in the heart of the city at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
The camp will last for at least 10 days and may be extended if deemed essential. MGCA has called in 3 additional coaches from outside the state to cater to the needs of the camp and the students who will attend. Speaking on the occasion the academy said that introducing new children to the sport is something that we always strive to do and when sometimes amazing talents are discovered, to see how that changes a child's and his parents life is a wonderful thing to be a part of. Till date we have produced more than 40 state players for the state and in the last season, the two youngest players for the J&K's Ranji Trophy team hailed from the academy too. The academy stated that the only requirements for the camp will be that students will need to fill out a Rs.200 registration form to ensure their seriousness . The academy only has a limited amount of time and can't cater to everybody. So, we need to ensure that the students who come to us are serious about playing cricket. No previous experience is required but love and seriousness for the game is key. Any student of any age who loves the sport is welcome. The timings of the camp will be from 8.15 am to 10.30 am at Guru Harkrishan Public School in Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
