Early Times Report
srinagar, June 4: A delegation of separatist leaders today faced an embarrassing situation after they were countered by a youth while they had gone to offer condolences to a family in the Dalgate area.
As the separatist leaders arrived at the relatives of Kaiser Amin Bhat at Dalgate a youth who was present there stood up and started asking some of the questions to the separatists. The youth accused the separatist leaders of pursuing dual agenda in the name of 'Azadi'.
"You people have changed their stance like anything and for that you are answerable to the people as a whole. Not long ago I was a die-hard fan of Geelani Saheb but not anymore. There is leadership crisis and sorry to say you are responsible for the same," said the youth spotting a beard.
The youth while taking a dig at senior separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani said that Geelani like other separatists hailed the passing of daughter of another separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah in the recently announced 10+2 examination of Central Board of Secondary Education.
"You people did not stop in hailing the success of Sama Shabir Shah. But let me tell you that Sama was a student of Delhi Public School, Srinagar. Geelani Saheb said that people should not send their wards to DPS since it is a missionary school. How come you hail the success of a girl who was a student of this school," said the youth.
The youth took a dig at the separatists and said that they are treating the youth as lame ducks while they hurl stones on police and para-millitary forces personnel. He said the deceased youth are not buried as soon as they get killed and there is delay in the same so that they (separatists) play politics over the dead bodies of youth. He termed the same as anti-Islamic and broke down while narrating the ordeal.
