Jammu, June 4: A protest demonstration was staged at Zonal Education Office (ZEO), Jourian which was led by cent Surjeet Chib , General secretary Ravinder Chib and Zonal president Roshan Bral, Ranjeet Slathia and Ankush Manhas as announced by State President Vinod Sharma .
All the ReT teachers of Zone Jourian participated in the programme.
Speaking on occasion Ravinder Chib, General Secretary, lambasted the JK government for not resolving the burning issues of the cadre. Senior Vice President Surjeet Singh Chib, of the forum , have strongly criticised the JK govt for non implementation of 7th pay commission and not delinking of SSA salary in favour of ReT's getting salary under SSA component.
Roshan Bral while addressing the protesters stated that injustice will never be tolerated, we belong to a noble profession, want to provide our services to the poor students in our respective institutions and not to come on roads.
"Govt has no right to play with the dignity of nation builders. He urged the govt not to check the patience of the community. He has requested the Chief Minister of J&K Mehbooba Mufti to personally intervene in the matter and address the issues of the cadre", said Roshan. A memorandum also submitted to ZEO Jourian-Madan Lal Sharma who assured the forum and said he will forward the same memorandum to the higher authority. Ranjeet Slathia gave the vote of thanks.
Moreover, Mohinder Partap and Ankush Manhas request all the ReTs of the Zone Jourian to gather at Chief Education Office Jammu on 05-06-2018 at 10:30 am sharp.
