Poonch, July 18: A Gateman by using his influence has been managing the store in Block Development office Mankote for the last quite some time sources said here today.
"Rakesh Kumar alias Pinky was working as Gateman in BDO's office Mendhar some years ago. He managed to change his cadre to class IV with the help of BDO and joined BDO office Mankote as class IV employee. Having all praises for him BDO Mankote Ajaz Qurashi has allowed him to work as store keeper," sources said.
Sources said he has been making fortunes in the store where he issued the construction material including cement, Saria tiles etc. to contractors as per his wish and issued them their quota in lieu of monetary benefits. While this practice was going on for the last quite some time due to the blessings of BDO Mankote Ajaz Qureshi who has been providing convenience to the said employee for the reason best known to him, they further added.
Meanwhile all the class IV employees of BDO have demanded higher ups to appoint them also as store men or replace Rakesh Kumar alias Pinky and depute him as class IV employee. |
