| Motorcycle lifter held, 3 stolen bikes recovered | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Sept 13: Tightening the noose of the unsociable and unscrupulous elements involved in commission of bike lifting incidents/ other category of Crime, Bari Brahmana police today claimed to have arrested a person in this regard.
Police spokesman said that a police party of Police Station Bari-Brahmana headed by Inspector Ravinder Singh Rakwal-SHO PS Bari-Brahmana under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma-SSP Samba raised a surprise naka checking at Channi Kartholi area of Bari-Brahmana police station and intercepted a person riding the bike on suspicious grounds and on rounding up of the suspect it came to fore that bike is stolen by him.
"On this, accused person namely Sandeep Jandial of Bishnah District Jammu was taken into custody instantly", said spokesman adding that on further questioning of the accused he also confessed his involvement in two more bike lifting incidents.
Upon his admission 02 more motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the accused person in two different locations of Samba/Jammu area, said spokesman.
The description of the Motor Cycle recovered from the accused person are Model Hero Honda Passion Plus, Registration number JK02AC-0233, Model Hero Splendor Pro, Registration number JK02BK-6315, Model Hero Honda Splendor, Chasis No. 06H16C25797. |
