| Water harvesting day celebrated | | | Jammu, Sept 13: Water Harvesting Day was today celebrated in the school premises of government Girls Higher Secondary School Rehari here today.
The purpose of this day as a part of swachata Abhiyan was to create awareness among the students about water harvesting, how we can save water today and for the future generations to come Shashikant Lakhanpal and Mrs Koran basotra explained the students about water harvesting that is how we can save rain water and runoff water for our use in schools ,at home and also in our locality.
Meenakshi Sharma and Renu Bala prepared a model for rain rainwater harvesting with the help of the students and explained them how rainwater can be preserved and used for future purposes. |
