| Shiv Sena finalizes arrangements for annual Chhari Yatra | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 16: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackeray) today held a meeting of its central body to discuss and finalize the arrangements for the Chhari Yatra which is organized by Shiv Sena every year on first Navratra for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. The meeting was presided over by Dimpy Kohli the president, Ashwani Gupta the working president, general secretary Rakesh Kak and Vipin Hindu the chairman of Shiv Sena. This yatra is being conducted on the instructions of Gulab Chand Dubey, who is the Rashtriya Sanghtak as well as the parbhari of North India states of Shiv Sena. All the district president were given the instructions for the smooth conduct of Chhari Yatra as this year the numbers of yatries are expected to be more than last year. While addressing the meeting, Dimpy Kohli the president said a high power committee of four members will be formed who will look after all the preparations for the conducting the Chhari Yatra.
He further said this year we also expect full support from the administration like previous years. Ashwani Gupta the working president said that Shiv Sena had been performing this Chari Yatra for so many years and the public as well as pilgrims take part in it and go to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan with the Holy Chhari. |
