Dr Farooq's nationalism exposed: Kundan Kashmiri
9/30/2018 9:57:21 PM
EarlyTimes Report
Jammu, Sept 30: Farooq Abdullah, President NC got provoked and perturbed by demanding re-organisation of J&K by nationalist organisations like KPC and others on the ground that the existing politico-administrative and constitutional set-up is Kashmir-centric and that if the people of Jammu , Ladakh and Kashmiri pundits are to obtain their due share in the polity and lead a dignified and secure life and also would end seventy years old Kashmiri hegemony over the state's polity, economy and social institutions of the state, stated KPC President Kundan Kashmiri in his organisational meeting at New Delhi.
The NC president has vehemently criticized nationalist forces like KPC and others and said that the NC will continue to strive to defend states so-called secular character.
In this regard President KPC Kundan Kashmiri while replying to Farooq Abdullah President NC and his party that they have completely ignored the fact that secularism died in the state the day Kashmiri Pandits and other nationalists forcibly migrated to Jammu, Delhi and other places in 1990 to escape their physical liquidation and save their honour, dignity, culture and faith.
Most of the over 4 lakh internally-displaced KP,s from Kashmir have been living in refugee camps since then and struggling to return to their Kashyap Bhoomi, with writ of Indian constitution. Farooq Abdullah also overlooked the fact that his own NC has forgotten and dumped his slogan of Hindu-Muslim-Sikh itihad and opposed tooth and nail the genuine demand of separate Kashyap Bhoomi for the internally-displaced Kashmiri Hindus in the Valley.
The NC's whole concept of secularism is flawed when they at one hand chant secularism in the state and at the other hand demands autonomy from India and tramples upon the rights of the minorities in the state on daily basis by opposing minority rights to the minority communities in the state, including Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains and Christians.
