Panthers hold successful surgical strikes in BJP bastions: Harsh
9/30/2018 9:58:03 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 30: Appealing the people to vote and support Panthers Party in ULB elections, Harsh Dev Singh JKNPP Chairman and Former Minister today said that it was high time that Dogras identified and acknowledged the services of those who were truly championing the cause of Jammu.
He said that neither the national parties nor the Kashmir based parties were the solution for the ills afflicting Jammu region. A regional party alone could meet the aspirations of Jammu and address the local issues of the public, he claimed adding that people were increasingly reposing their faith in Panthers Party and its leadership. He was addressing public meetings in Ward No. 4, 10 and 16 of JMC today.
Accusing the BJP of having cheated the people by its false rhetoric, Singh said peoples' faith in saffron party had completely been shaken and its real intents exposed. The BJP which earlier groaned on trivial issues and would nail anyone and everyone for not doing enough for Jammu had itself made the biggest compromises with the honour and pride of Jammu in frequent fixed matches, said Singh.
He said not only that, the BJP further tried to cheat the people of Jammu by its double dealing and duplicity over various issues including Rasana case and decision of unilateral ceasefire. He said not only had the party jettisoned its age old fundamentals with slogans like Art 370 having been pushed into the oblivion but its own govt shamelessly engaged a battery of lawyers in Supreme Court to defend Art 35-A which it opposed for around six decades.
Challenging the BJP leadership to prove the fulfilment of even a single commitment made by it prior to elections, Singh said that the delivery on its promises had rather been in inverse proportion to the articulation of the promise itself. Appealing the people to oppose, expose and depose the opportunist leaders who betrayed Jammu, Singh said that Panthers Party would continue to hold surgical strikes against the surrenders and blunders of BJP till it was completely decimated.
Seeking support for NPP candidates, Singh said that it was the only party that was relentlessly fighting for the rights and concerns of people of Jammu irrespective of caste, creed and colour. He said there was not a single Jammu issue which remained un-agitated by the NPP with protests held in Jammu, Srinagar and New Delhi on regular basis so as to make the govt accountable and answerable to the people. We are committed to fight for the pride and honour of Dogras till the last breath, said Harsh.
Manju Singh General Secretary JKNPP came down heavily on the BJP for its treachery and deceit over the issue of inflation, unemployment and resurrection of economy. The state BJP had not only deprived our educated youth of their rightful claims but inflicted the biggest dent upon Dogra pride by failing during its rule to declare September 23 as a state holiday, she said. She appealed the people to overthrow the current leadership and support their own Panthers Party in the ultimate interests of Dogras.
