9/30/2018 10:25:19 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Sept 30: Sanjay Sandhu, Executive Member All J&K Youth Federation urged that People should come forward in large numbers and exercise their valuable votes in upcoming Civic Body Elections and proffer befitting reply to the forces working against Indian Democracy in J&K.
He further opposed the election boycott by power hungry regional franchises inclined to axe their own grind by defeating the public interest as well as the national interest and accused the boycotting franchises for developing mistrust and trust deficit among the youth and the people of all the three regions of the state. These political franchises and stakeholders have bifurcated the people of the state on religious basis for the sake of power and now are on the verge to create unrest and agony among the youth. He stated that AJKYF unanimously resolve and pledge to bring misguided youth in the national mainstream and unite/bring them on uniform platform with a mission to work for communal harmony, brotherhood, unity, integrity and sovereignty of Nation.
He further resolved that the federation will fight against favoritism, nepotism and corruption in employment generation, development and public life to ensure the establishment of human society and good governance for achieving the target of justice to all. He also appealed the youth and people of the state to come in large numbers to vote in the Civil Body Elections and to contribute for the perpetuation as well as buttress the democratic structure of the nation electing and bringing out people with exorbitant caliber to serve the people and society. Prominent among those who participated were Dr. Pankaj Mangotra, Haroon Rashid, Nakul Sharma, Amit Sharma, Fazal-ul-Haq Choudhary, Sahil Jamwal, Shah Nawaz Khaki, Ankit Sharma, Rahul Dev Singh, Akshay Raina, S.S.Khajuria, Keshav Malhotra among other.
