JKReTTF celebrates announcement of 7th Pay Commission

Jammu, Sept 30: The Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar e Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) today held a celebration meeting at Udhampur where the top leadership of the forum thanked Satya Pal Malik Governor, Government of Jammu and Kashmir state for ordering implementation of 7th Pay Commission benefits in favour of teachers working under SarvaShiksha Abhiyan (SSA).
JKReTTF Senior Vice Chairman Bhupinder Singh while speaking to celebration gathering also thanked State Chief Secretary Subramaniam, Advisor to Governor (Education) Khurshid Ahmad Ganaie, Commissioner Secretary Education Inderjeet Sahu, Director Samaagra Tufail Matoo, Director School Education Jammu Rakesh Kumar Sangral, Director School Education Kashmir Dr GN Itoo and senior officials of Finance, Planning and Education departments for their sincere efforts in resolving the issues of teachers. Bhupinder Singh urged the Governor administration to release pending salaries and arrears on account of 7th Pay Commission from the month of April of current year. He also urged the respective Directorates to restart the regularization process of hundreds of unconfirmed ReTs whose files are already lying at the Directorate Jammu and Srinagar.
Bhupinder Singh also said that these teachers are passing through difficult phase due to financial constraints and their families are grappling with odds from last one year. District President Udhampur Kuldeep Katoach thanked all Rets of District Udhampur for their full support in Candle marches, Protests, Pendown strikes, Hunger Strikes and other type of protests as a result His Excellency of Governor called State Leadership of Ret forum and annonced 7th Pay Commission benefits to SSA Teachers.
Others who Were Present includes Vijay Choltra, Varinder Sharma, Suresh Verma, Parbhat Singh, Sangeev Guleria, Indeerjeet Singh, Satya Paul, Nasib Chand, Akram kainth, Charn Dass, Ravi Kumar, Sachin Sharma, Vijay Paul Singh, surjeet Singh, Angrez Singh, Satpaul, Kewal Singh, Sumit Khajuria, Randip, Sanjay Sharma and many others.
Similarly celebration function also organised by District unit of Ret Forum Reasi under the leadership of DP Reasi Bhadur Singh where in teachers thanked the State government for announced the benefit of 7th pay commission to 41thousands Teachers. Others who were present includes Samina kousar, Bharat Singh Naag, Kanta Naag,Ritika Rajput, Rajesh Thakur and others.
Meanwhile District Ramban also organised celebration function at Dak Bangla Ramban under the leadership of its District President Farooq Runyal and attended by Shkeel Zahood, Mushtaq Malik, Akhtar Abbas Niak, Tirth Singh, Vikram Singh, Bahar Mir and others.
