| Transformer defunct, Ghani village without power for 25 days | | | Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Oct 2: The Mohalla Khordhara of village Ghani of Mendhar Sub Division is without power for the last 25 days as the transformer lying defunct.
People of the area who are facing lot of difficulties due to no light during these days while the children are studying for final examinations, and a number of times they met with the concerned authority but all in vain.
The local resident Imran Ahmed said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate and block the roads and others. They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Poonch to issue suitable instructions to the concerned officers at Mendhar to immediately replace the burnt transformer and provide light to the consumers. |
