Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 2: Despite repeated directions for detachment of attached employees from different quarters from time to time and implementation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in the wake of upcoming Urban Local Bodies elections, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Reasi is not adhering to the directions and is continuously ordering attachments.
The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Nirmal Choudhary earlier also remained in news when he was posted as CEO Kathua for transferring employees despite ban imposed by the government.
Sources said that recently, the CEO Reasi ordered attachment of three teachers in Government Higher Secondary School Katra which is already running in surplus staff while one teacher was also attached by the CEO in Girls High School Katra.
"In Zone Chankha, Middle School Susla has only five teachers available and the CEO attached three teachers of the said school with different schools", said sources adding that Middle School Susla was left with two teachers only.
Sources further claimed that as per circular no. 22 of 2018 dated 06-07-2018 issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), there are clear cut directions for repatriations of attached employees.
If sources are to be believed, the said CEO just after joining the office, attached a teacher from Talwara area in his office who was earlier detached from the office of the CEO after complaints against him.
Earlier CEO Nirmal Choudhary when he was posted as CEO Kathua was forcibly evicted from his chair in the CEO's Office, which he occupied in violation of standing attachment orders of the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua issued on May 10 by him asking him to report to DC Office as the former had issued the transfer orders of teachers, which was banned by the Government.
