| NPP lone crusader for Jammu cause: SRS | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 4: Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Jammu and Kashmir, on appealed to Jammuites to vote and support Panthers Party candidates in Urban Local Body (ULB) elections as it is the only regional party committed to safeguard the aspirations and sentiments of Dogras which is the core identity of Jammu region.
SRS State President Rajiv Mahajan, in a statement issued today, asked the Jammuites before casting their votes they must bear in mind what happened to them during last four years under BJP rule in the State after giving the historic mandate to the party.
Mahajan reminded Jammu Dogras if the Cabinet Ministers of BJP including then Deputy Chief Minister of State could not do anything satisfactory, how come that they are claiming now that their Corporators will bring any change on the ground.
He strongly maintained that the performance of BJP is in front of all of us and repeating the same mistake which was done in 2014 by trusting the party which had promised stars and sky will be a serious blunder.
In no case BJP deserves second chance as the golden opportunity provided to them was only used by them to enjoy power and remained committed to it leaving the Dogras in lurch by badly hurting their sentiments, he said. With Jammu region having experienced the worst era of neglect and deprivation during BJP-PDP regime, Mahajan said that Panthers Party is committed to fight out all bias and prejudicial treatment doled out to the region at all costs. |
