| Complainant seeks rejection of candidature | | PRC of BJP candidate challenged | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 4: Demanding rejection of candidature of a Bhariya Janata Party (BJP) candidate who has filed his candidature from ward no 12 in Akhnoor, a social activist today approached the Deputy Commissioner Jammu for verification of his state subject and other documents.
The complainant namely Sunil Kumar of village Gandharwan, Akhnoor in his complaint alleged that Kuldeep Raj son of Chuni Lal does not fulfill criteria set for any contesting candidate as his state subject is forged and has been wrongly obtained.
"The name of Kuldeep Raj is read as "Guldeep Raj" and the file No so mentioned on the state subject is non-existent in Govt records", said complainant adding that the record of date of birth of said candidate is also not matching Govt records.
The complainant has also attached the copy of State subject of Kuldeep Raj for verifying the same on its merit whereas report of Naib Tehsildar (concerned record room Jammu) where it is mentioned that said file No. 637/PR dated 25/10/01 is not in Govt. record has also been attached with the complaint.
Meanwhile, Kuldeep Raj said that it was just propaganda to defame him and there was nothing wrong in his documents. |
