| Senior Citizens Week: Awareness events held at Doda | | | DODA, Oct 4: The Social welfare Department today organized two awareness events her here at NariNekatan and Government High school (Bun Doda) to celebrate senior citizens week.
The students staff members of GHS, inmates of NariNiketan and officials of Tehsil Social Welfare Office participated in the twin events.
A motivation lectures were delivered byDSWO Zubair Ahmed and the teachers to the students.
They stressed upon the students to respect and maintain the dignity of the elders as they are the backbone of the society. They urged the people to come forward for the welfare of the senior citizens.
As a token of respect and appreciation mementos were presented to the elderly members of the institute. The function ended with the vote of thanks by TSWO. |
