Jammu, Oct 7: While tightening grip over the criminals, RS Pura Police today claimed to have arrested a person and recovered sharp edged weapon (Toka) from his possession. Police spokesman said that the Police party of RS Pura police established Naka at Chohalla Morh for checking and on seeing police party one person tried to escape from the spot.
The Naka party overpowered the said person and on his personal search, 01 sharp edged weapon (Toka) has been recovered from the possession of the said accused person.
Police identified the arrested person as Deeraj Choudahry of Chohalla, RS Pura.
In this regard, a case under FIR No.134/2018 under section 4/25 Arm Act has been registered at police station RS Pura and further investigation has been started. |
