Locals demand construction of passenger shed at Dharana Chowk

Poonch, Oct 21: People have been taking refugee under trees and other alternatives while waiting at Dharna Chowk in Mendhar when it is too hot or rainy day as there is no passenger shed , Sources said here today
Dharana Chowk being a busy place witnesses huge rush of passengers and vehicles. Many people could be seen waiting for their vehicles. Many people could be seen waiting for their vehicles for which they have to wait there. They feel very awkward position when the weather goes unfavorable and they have take refugee under trees or soon embarrassing situation it becomes for women and children, Sources added while talking to Early Times a group of senior citizen said that they have been urging the authorities for construction of passenger shed a number of times but they have district as well as tehsil administration have been in no mood ever to pay a heed to our plea, they added .
Meanwhile Mendhar youth club chairman advocate Nadeem Rafiq Khan has once again urged the district authorities to construct a passenger shed in Dharana Chowk for the use of general public who have been facing many problems while waiting for vehicles of their respective routes he added.
