Dual yard stick!

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 21: Jammu University (JU) authorities have allegedly adopted different yard sticks for promotions of matriculate and graduate class IV employees just for harassing the matriculate class IV employees of the varsity.
The dictatorial and discriminating approach of JU administration towards the matriculate class IV employees of the varsity has allegedly put their career at stake. Sources said that JU has adopted the state government's promotion policy for matriculate Class IV employee and Kashmir University policy adopted for Graduate Class IV employee of JU.
The university authority has created a discriminating attitude among the matriculate and graduate Class IV employees as the JU authorities have implemented the Kashmir University Council's resolution for graduate class IV employees only whereas matriculate class IV employees are still being promoted through state government's promotion policy.
Sources said that since August 2016 the Graduate Class IV employees of JU are getting promotion benefits as per Kashmir University Council's Resolution dated 2-6-2008 issued vide notification No. F (Enhanced Qouta-Gen.Adm) KU/08 July 08, 2008 but the matriculate class IV employees of the JU are not being covered under the Kashmir University Council's Resolution
"The matriculate class IV employees of JU also submitted a representation to Registrar on 11/7/ 2018 that as per that order matriculate employees also get the promotion benefit", said sources adding that the administration of JU is discriminating with them on the basis of qualification.
Sources further claimed that the university authority has given benefits of one cadre of the Class IV while other cadre has been neglected.
