SACGBPF holds Mahapanchayat

POONCH, Oct 21: Shaheed Aurangzeb Chouhan Gujjar Bakerwals And Pahadi Forum (SACGBPF) organized Mahapanchayat at Salani, in Poonch district on Sunday. According to press release, it was a first of its kind Mahapanchayat of Gujjar Bakerwals and Pahari community of the region, where Auranzeb chouhan Foundation was also formally launched which will work for the value based education of children especially females of the adjoining areas, border areas, effected and victim families due to cease fire violations at border by Pakistan, to raise literacy levels of the region and make them skilled to earn livelihood and specially youth.
This Mahapanchayat of SACGBPF was held in memory of Martry-Aurangzeb, who sacrificed his life for country. The members also elaborated on their plans for strengthening the democracy in the State and participation in upcoming Panchayat elections. Thousands participated in this Mahapanchayat which was held in memory of Aurangzeb, a Middleman with 4, Jammu and Kashmir Light infantry. After being kidnapped by Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists from Pulwama, his bullet ridden body was found in Gusoo, Pulwama.
The terrorists had filmed his gruelling torture in the forest and later released the video on social media. Aurangzeb was on his way back home to join his family for Eid festivities. The loss of his son has not deterred 55 year old Mohammad Haneef himself an ex Indian Army man. Aurangzeb's martyrdom had united hearts of all peace loving people who had joined his funeral from all over the country. Many of Aurangzeb's friends left their jobs in middle east and came back to avenge his death.Civil Society has come forward to provide constructive direction to this emotion generated after brutal killing, in form of this platform called SACGBPF. The Civil Society has taken matters in its hands and this platform and foundation on the name of shaheed Aurangzeb will work for the value based education of children so that they do not take up militancy in future.
Further this cohesive platform will work to strengthen faith in democracy and the first step in this direction has been to participate in panchayat elections.
