Ph.D scholar files nomination papers for Sarpanch elections

Kishtwar, Oct 29: With an aim to strengthen the democracy, after peaceful and successful culmination of ULB Polls, nominations for Panchayti Elections are being filed by the Candidates of various age and a delightful news has come Kishtwar District where a Ph.D Scholar identified as Sindhu Balla had filled her nomination paper as a sarpanch candidate from a far flung village Anjole in Inderwal constituency of the district.
As per the details available with Early Times, Sindhu Balla who has completed her Master's degree from Jammu University in a regular manner and has already completed her M. phill degree besides having B.Ed and other technical qualifications in various streams is persuing her P.hd degree.
Sindhu Balla according to the locals has said that since from the first day she was married to a far flung area, she feels a pain in her heart while looking at the miseries and socio-economic condition of common masses and especially for females and young boys and girls who are suffering due to negligence and bacwardness.
"After thinking about all the situations and with the proper planning for the sake of people and especially for the women's of the area who have been deprived and neglected for every cause-- She have been here to contest elections as a Saprpanch" people quoted her saying added that she wants to play her role in establishing, strengthening democracy and beneficial schemes of government on ground with highest amount of transparency.
Sindhu was further quoted as saying that the people should have to raise it's level up above-- irrespective of religion, caste,colour and creed and work for the all round development of Panchayats, Constituency and our Country.
She was accompanied by Akash Sharma and Rubeena Begum who also filled nomination Papers as a Panch candidate in the said Panchayat.
