Kashmiris killing Kashmiris: Is killing innocents Jihad?
10/29/2018 10:36:37 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 29: Terrorists on Sunday gunned down an Sub Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police and a worker of Peoples Democratic Party in Kashmir Valley.
Both the killed persons were Kashmiris. Their only fault was that they were nationalists and were supporting the state. "Terrorists have once again proved that they have no religion and they can kill anyone. The so-called champions of human rights Hurriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Hurriyat dove Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and so-called JKLF chief Yasin Malik don't find these cold blooded murders as gruesome. For them this is Jihad," said an analyst.
He said the unarmed police officer who was shot dead by the terrorists in south Kashmir was on way to his home to meet his old parents. But the terrorists intercepted his car and killed him. "Pakistan stooges active in Kashmir just maintaining silence over the killings of a policeman and a PDP worker is a clear indication that they endorse such acts," the analyst added.
A Kashmir watcher said that such killings should serve as an eye opener for the people who support terrorists and the separatists. "They should realize that it's the Kashmiris who are getting killed from all the sides. Pakistan sponsored terrorists have been directed to kill more and more people so that the fear prevails and the people don't dare to raise their voice against the senseless violence which is prevailing in the Valley," the Kashmir watcher added.
A politician said, "It's unfortunate that political workers become soft targets. Just two days before the ULB polls terrorists killed two National Conference workers in heart of the city to ensure that fear prevails and people stay away from polling booths. At that point of time too separatists maintained silence and did not utter a word. Someone needs to ask these terrorists and their supporters is killing innocents permitted in any religion? What do they achieve by killing innocents?"
The politician said that Kashmir centric parties National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party should stop telling lies to people and they need to clear their stand vis-à-vis Kashmir problem. "They should tell people that Azadi and Pakistan are illusions and innocent killings in Kashmir are being carried out at the behest of so-called Hurriyat leaders and Pakistan as both the players want Kashmir to burn and Kashmiris to die. Pakistan wants to keep the pot boiling in Kashmir to avenge the defeat it suffered in Bangladesh war. Kashmiris have been turned into canon-fodder by the Pak agents active in the Valley. People of Kashmir should rise in unison and tell the terrorists and their masters that they are not their salves," the politician added.
