A division bench of the court passed the orders after hearing Asif Ahmad Bhat, Additional Advocate General and one of the petitioners.
The AAG submitted that the Government has no scheme for the benefit of the transgenders while the petitioner, who was present in the Court, stated that the Government has not bothered to frame any scheme for the benefit of transgenders even as several schemes are in vogue in different parts of the Country.
