JAMMU, Oct 30: STC warriors shall take on Srinagar district while Heritage school shall take on JK public school in the boys section of the state sub junior basketball championship being organized by the J&K State basketball association at MA stadium.
In the girls section, Srinagar district shall take on Rest of Jammu, while JK public school shall take on Kathua district on Wednesday.
On the second day of the championship today, JKPS won both their matches, beating rest of Jammu and Srinagar district by 28-12 and 17-12 respectively in boys section, while in girls section, Rest of Jammu beat Carmel Convent and Heritage School in its two outings while JKPS beat Srinagar district and G D Goenka.
The semi finals shall be played on Thursday morning while the final shall be played in the afternoon at the same venue. Those who officiated today's matches included Manoj Kumar, Mir Mursaleen, Abhishek Gupta, Sumit Kumar, Rishab Walter and Shivam Heer. |
