Career Counseling Fest concludes at MVIS

jammu, Oct 30: Two days "Career Counseling Fest-2018" came to an end at MV International School today. Students of classes 11th& 12th had an opportunity to interact with Vikramjeet Singh Bhatia, Zonal Head (Punjab, J&K) AMITY University. He talked about various career options available and shared necessary information. He told students that choosing a right career is the most vital decision in everybody's life and 'Career Assessment' can help individuals to identify and articulate better. He discussed about the conventional and non conventional careers with the students. In another session, Mr.Atul Vinod Duggal, Film Maker & Director, Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) interacted with the students and briefed them about 'Animation' and its career options. Many big studios and companies like Walt Disney, Sony Pictures & Turner Entertainment which makes animated films, TV Ads & Computer Games, are outsourcing animation content to India. He highlighted nonconventional courses in the field of film making like Modelling Artist, Character Animator, FX Artist, Compositor, Motion Graphics Artist, Match moving Artist, Lighting Artist etc. Parents play an important role in their child's career and it affects determination and dedication of a child towards the career that he/she opts for, after schooling. Keeping this thought in mind Parental Sessions were also held with the team of counsellors. Parents of students of 11th& 12th had elaborate discussions with children & counsellors on the future choices of subjects & careers.
