Protesters pelt stones at forces in Tral despite Army Chief Bipin Rawat's warning

Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 30: Massive violence broke out after an encounter in Pulwama's Tral during an encounter. While the forces were carrying out the encounter on a hunt for militants, the protesters tried to engage the forced and helped terrorists escape. Their vehicles were also targetted with massive stone pelting.
In the video, protesters can be seen charging towards the vehicles loaded with stones in their hands. This comes after Army Chief's warning that pelters must stop targetting the forces. As the situation remained tense in the Midoora area of Tral, there have been several civilian interruptions in an encounter against the militants.
There is one area under complete cordon while the protesters are breaking law and order while pelting stones at the forces on the other side. Three days ago, an army soldier was killed after he was hit by one of the stone a pelter threw at the forces.
Army Chief Bipin Rawat condemned the attack and called the stone pelters as "overground workers of the terrorists". "Terror is another way they keep the pot boiling. They want to stall development in Kashmir but India is strong enough to counter everything, and we are fully capable of carrying out different operations," he said. He had also said earlier that stern action will be taken against the stone pelters.
Earlier on Tuesday, an organisation advocating the cause of displaced Kashmiri Pandits, Panun Kashmir, said that stone pelting has "formally assumed the status of an alternative terror mechanism and its advocates have, unfortunately, made their way into every political party (in Valley)". He further appealed to the Centre and state governments to review the policy regarding this.
