| Fatehpur people lack drinking water, authorities unmoved | | | Rajesh Tandon

Poonch, Oct 30: The inhabitants of village Fatehpur of tehsil Mandi crave for drinking water. Despite investing crors of rupees to provide water to the masses, the water supply scheme Dhara-Fatehpur is notable to provide water facilities to them. Although government has closed the said scheme before five years, but the factual report of the said project is regrettable.
Locals said, some PDP leaders had assured the masses before 2014 assembly elections adequate supply of water if voted to power.
Even local PDP workers had succeed in befooling of masses, but locals are still waiting for water supply. Locals have appealed to governor Satya Pal Malik to take this matter on priority and conduct strong investigation into the matter. |
