| To attract voters, RDD releases 1223.54 lac for 12 Kishtwar Panchayats | | |

Kishtwar, Oct 30: In order to lure the voters towards Panchayat elections, the Rural Development Department block Kishtwar has released budgetary plan of Rupees 1223.54 Lacs for 12 Panchayats.
As per the details available with Early Times, the RDD released a banner highlighting the distribution of funds under MGNREGA for the Kishtwar block.
"Funds to be released to Panchayats for 2019-20-- development at your door step-- power in every hand-- progress in every hand -- vote for the change you want" read the banner. As per the details mentioned in the said banner, Panchayat Poochal B 1 gets the maximum funds of Rs. 206.99 Lacs followed by Lachdiyaram A which is due to get Rs. 147.63 lacs, Poochal A1 to get 112.11 Lacs.
The aim and objective of releasing the poster is said to attract the voters after ULB elections attract less voter turnout however the various political parties termed the move a model code of conduct. Similar poster is said to have been released in other blocks of the Kishtwar District. |
