Kishtwar, Nov 4: Even after 4 days of brutal double murder of BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar by some unidentified gunmen, Kishtwar police is still clueless .
As per the details available with Early Times, the Special Investigation Team headed by Additional SP Kishtwar Parbeet Singh detained several people for questioning including the Shopkeepers in and around the place of incident.
The sources said that majority of those picked up for questioning have been released.
The sources said that the Kishtwar police are investigating the role of various terror modules that has been busted by the police in last few years in Kishtwar district and also collecting the CCTV footage from the cameras installed by the people in and around the routes leading to the scene of crime.
A senior police official confirmed to Early Times that they were working on various leads collected by the police so far from crime scene and from the eyewitnesses. He said that the domestic helper who had seen the incident before his eyes is key to breaking the sensational double murder.
Police have asked the people to come forward and help the police in bringing the culprits to book and assured that the name of anyone who gives credible lead in the case will be kept secret.
Meanwhile the sources told the Early Times that on the bases of the statement from the key witness, Kishtwar police is in the process of preparation of the sketches of the culprits.
