Wafa Foundation seeks thorough probe into killing of Parihar brothers
11/5/2018 10:40:26 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 5: Demanding thorough probe in the recent killing of Anil Parihar, and his brother, Ajeet Parihar, Chairman Wafa Foundation Parvez Wafa Khan said it is irony that the government has failed to provide proper security to these respected and prominent personalities knowing well about the sensitivity of the area. Parvez Wafa said that facts should be brought forth within stipulated time and culprits should be brought to book under severe punishment and delay in probe would further create confusion and chaos just like mystery remains in noted journalist Shujaat Bukhari's case. Killing of such socio-political activists has created confusion and had raised threat among other such personalities to carry on their social work without security, Wafa said.
Urging authorities for time bound probe, Wafa said that appropriate security should be provided to political persons who have spared their life to uphold the Democratic institution in the state to carry on their social and political activities to strengthen Indian democracy and those hell-bent to damage the socio- ethos of the state need to be exposed.
