Senior Citizens Forum passes resolution to formulate a body

JAMMU, Nov 5: A largely attended meeting of Senior Citizens Forum was held today at Higher Secondary School R.S. Pura under the chairmanship of Jai singh Chib retired senior lecturer, Bharat Jyoti Pushkar and is a social reformer.
The retired officials and passed resolution to formulate a body under the banner to formulate body under the banner of senior citizens forum as is essential and imperative to highlight the burning problems of retired employees in general and other chronic social evils in particulars, so that all the sections of our society may prosper by bring them closer and closer irrespective of caste colour and creed as per the provision of our Indian Constitution. While deliberating on the present situation all the participants shown greet concern about the problems of employees especially retired who have since been facing harasment over delay pensions settlement cases in the AG's office where huge pendency has been reported for re-structured old pensions for which the forum raised uthe issue to redress the genuine raised the issue to redress the genuine demands of aggreived pensioners at the earliest giving one timely attention. Participants were Jagdish Raj Bhagat, S. Joginder Singh, H.R. Verma, Amar Nath Sharma, Darshan Lal, Gurcharan Singh and many others who spoke on the occasion.
