Solo Cycling from Ladakh to Kanyakumari started

JAMMU, Nov 21: Kolkata based cyclist, SamratMoulikhas started his solo cycling expedition from Ladakh to Kanyakumari and after reaching Kanyakumari he will visit Srilanka to spread awareness about importance of rivers.
This expedition is first of its kind and has started from Leh in Ladakh on November 8, 2018 and is going to end in Kanyakumari/ Sri Lanka transversing a distance of 5500 km in approximately 90 days touching more than 40 rivers en-route. National Insurance is associated as Insurance Partner of this expedition for spreading the important message of 'Save river and Conserve Water' for the environment and future generation. Samrat will be noting the condition of around rivers and water bodies that comes in his way.
So far he has visited Leh, Srinagar and Anantnag and has now reached Jammu on November 21 where from he will carry on his expedition to other states.
