| Dr Banarsi from KVK of conferred with RASSA Best Extensionist Award | | |  Early Times Report
Reasi, Nov 21: Dr. Banarsi Lal, Incharge, Senior Scientist-cum-Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) has been conferred with the "RASSA Best Extensionist Award" by the Royal Association for Science-led Socio-Cultural Advancement (RASSA),New Delhi and Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) during the National Seminar on "Smart Technologies to Boost Farm Profitability and Socio-Economic Status of Rural India" held at SKUAST-J on 19th and 20th of November,2018. The award was bestowed upon the scientist for his immense contribution and meritorious achievements in the field of agriculture and allied sectors. The award contains a Certificate of Excellence along with a shawl. Dr.Banarsi thanked Associate Director Extension and I/C, KVKs of SKUAST-J, Dr.RK Arora for his constructive suggestions and valuable guidance. The Executive Committee of RASSA and Award Jury Committee of RASSA National Seminar-2018 selected the budding scientist for the RASSA Best Extensionist Award for his rigorous and innovative efforts for the transfer of agricultural and allied sectors technologies to the farmers of hilly districts Udhampur and Reasi, for research papers in national and international journals as first author, books as first author, book chapters as first author, popular and research articles as first author, success stories as first author. |
