Jammu, Nov 26: Overstay syndrome has hit transfer policy in J&K, 32 officers of the Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) have completed five year stay at a particular place.
According to sources, some of these overstaying officers are unwillingly continuing, as the General Administration Department (GAD) is not paying any attention into the matter.
"Arvind Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner Udhampur, is posted on the same post since 24/07/2015; Nasir Ahmad Naqash, Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, posted since 26/06/2016; Anil Koul, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, posted since 07/07/2015; Rachna Sharma, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, posted since 22/04/2015", sources said.
As per GAD's website there are many more in the list who are overstaying even beyond transfer policy.
Prediman Krishan Bhat, Additional Commissioner-Commercial Taxes (Tax Planning), posted since 22/04/2015; Raman Kumar Kesar, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, and ex-officio Additional Secretary to the government, Election Department, posted since 31/03/2015; Ajay Kumar Sharma, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, posted since 07/07/2015; Subash C. Chhibber, Additional Secretary, GAD, posted since 15/03/2013; Nawab Din, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, posted since 07/07/2015; Nirupa Rai, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, posted since 07/07/2015; Abdul Aziz Sheikh, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Ganderbal, posted since 27/01/2015; Manzoor Hussain, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Poonch, posted since 04/09/2014; Trishala Kumari, Joint Registrar, Cooperatives (Special), Jammu, posted since 04/09/2014.
