22nd State ITF Taekwondo Championship concludes

Jammu, Dec 2: The two days 22nd State ITF Taekwondo Championship organized by All J&K Taekwondo Association today concluded at Rotary Club, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. S. J P Singh IPS, IGP (Personal) JKP was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Ritesh Kapoor, Chief & Chairman of AJKTA presided over the function where as Sandeep Mehta JKPS - SSP (Operations), Jammu &
Chief Patron AJKTA, Sheikh Altaf Hussain- Advocate J&K High Court and Jyoti Pachnanda-Bureau Chief Sahara India TV, J&K were the Guests of Honour.
Around 150 students from various districts of the state participated in this two days championship. The participants (both boys & girls) from age category of 6 to 16 years participated in this two days championship. J. P. Singh appreciated the participants for their wonderful presentations and lauded the role of the association for the conduct of this championship. He added that sports add charm to the fitness of mind, body and soul; students need to learn the values and ethics of the organization at the same level.
Ritesh Kapoor, Chairman of the Association expressed gratitude towards the participants for showing their real sportsmanship in this championship.
Sandeep Mehta, Chief Patron of the Association congratulated the winners in the championship and said those lost this time should take it as a lesson to improve their skills and shouldn't give up.
The championship was conducted by Mukesh Thakur-President, Mr Vikal Dubey-General Secretary. The referees those conducted the championship were Amit Sharma, Abdul Qayoom Khan, Sachin Kumar, Ramesh Raina and others. The prize distribution ceremony was concluded with an attractive demonstration led by Geetansh Thakur, Ashwani and Hardik. At the end, Vikal Dubey- General Secretary AJKTA presented the vote of thanks.
