RAMBAN, Dec.15: On the last day of it's ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada,the SSB, 7th Battalion under the supervision of it's Commandant,Ajay Kumar organised a cleanliness drive and an awareness rally in the lanes and Bazar of Batote town.
The staffers of SSB were assisted by the staffers of Municipal Committee and students besides teachers of Government Higher Secondary and Girls High Schools.
The students carrying palcards and banners also shouted cleanliness awareness slogans to convey the importance of cleanliness among public.
The garbage collected from the market was loaded into a vehicle of SSB which disposed it off to the dumping place.
The Principal, Jagjeet Singh, ZEO, Lekhraj Goswami, Naib-Tehsildar, Batote, Jugal Kishore, SSB's Deputy Commandants, Raj Ranjan and Ravi Shankar Kumar besides Assistant Commandant, Sunil Kumar also accompanied the rally led by SSB, Bn 7's 2nd-in-Command, SB Chand. |
