Faculty development program on Nai Talim concludes at JU

Jammu, Dec 23: A seven Day workshop cum Faculty Development Program(FDP) for the teacher Educators on Nai Talim, Experiential Learning & Work Education being organized in Department of Education , University of Jammu under the patronage of Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education concluded today with the Valedictory function.
Prof Keshav Sharma Dean Academic Affairs, the Chief Guest in the Valedictory Function while addressing the teacher said that the educators were highly appreciative of the FDP which is going to bring a new change in the teachers. He emphasized that there is need of inculcating a smile on the faces of the students by the teachers. The teachers are the change agents and as such should create an environment of change & tolerance among their students & it is the role of the teachers to link the curriculum with the employment needs of the society. Later on Prof Sharma distributed the Certificates to the participants. Earlier, Prof Rajeev Rattan Sharma presented a synoptic profile of the FDP & the future action plan and also delivered welcome address. Prof PK Mishra , Dept of Education , CCS University Meerut was the Guest of honour. Priyank Goswami , the resource person from the MGNCRE presented a detailed report of the seven days proceedings whereas Dr SK Panda proposed a formal vote of thanks.
