Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 23: Jammu and Kashmir Police slapping the "Attempt to Murder" charges against the so-called JKLF chief Yasin Malik and his seven supporters has created ripples in the separatist camp.
Sources told Early Times that the authorities have decided to tighten the noose around the Pakistan stooges active in Kashmir to drive home a point that they won't be allowed to spread venom against the country. "Malik and his supporters assaulted the men in uniform when they tried to prevent them from marching towards Badami Bagh cantonment last week. Malik and his men have been booked to send a clear message to the Pak agents that they cannot get away with their criminal activities aimed at instigating the people," said a source.
He said that Police are in the process of preparing a "water tight" case against Malik and his supporters to send a message to the Pak stooges that anti-national activities won't be tolerated. "Hurriyat dove Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and a few others also have become active in the recent past and they are no leaving no stone unturned to fan the anti-national sentiments. They too are under scanner if they don't mend their ways they too would end up behind the bars," the source added.
Its in place to mention here that last week Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had hit out at the separatists in Kashmir saying, "They exploit every possible situation to fan further anti-India sentiments which in turn causes law and order problems. The separatists also exploit every possible situation to agitate the people to fan further anti-India sentiments which leads to law and order situation," Singh had said.
An official said that Ministry of Home Affairs has passed clear instructions to the security agencies operating in Jammu and Kashmir to cut all the anti-national elements to size. "People who are propagating Pakistan's cause and are preaching separatism and sedition will be dealt with sternly. Despite most Hawala channels being plugged by the various investigating agencies separatists continue to receive the funds from across the border. The terror camps and terror infrastructure are intact," he added.
The official said that every possible attempt is being made to ensure that the forthcoming Assembly and Parliamentary elections in the state are held in a free and fair atmosphere. "No one will be allowed to disrupt the process by giving strike and chalo calls, nor would be the anti-national elements given any space," the official added.
