| All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' hold monthly meeting | | |

Jammu, Dec 23: The Monthly Meeting of the District Udhampur unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum was held today on Dec 23, 2018 under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma, District President of the Forum.
In the meeting, the participants hailed the appointment of Anuradha Gupta as Director School Education Jammu and hoped that with her vast administrative acumen, she will try her best to streamline the system of education in the Jammu division.
They demanded that transfers of the teaching staff be effected strictly under the Transfer Policy and only during winter/summer vacations and not during the academic session and that the training of teaching staff be also conducted during the breaks to avoid loss of studies to the students.
They also demanded that a large number of vacancies existing in the Department be filled up in the schools on priority basis, especially in those institutions falling in the hilly and farflung areas.The members also urged the Government to expedite the process of regularisation of the Incharge incumbents in the School Education Department and issue the relevant order in this respect at the earliest. |
